The museum is treated as an archived set of objects that are thematically sorted, with an alternative path that cuts through the objects. This also challenges the concept of permanent and temporary as everything becomes a merged experience joint by our path of travel.

Traditionally there is only one way of navigating through a museum; by strolling through the different rooms on foot and stopping at certain points at will. By introducing alternative ways of travel we create dynamic architectural narratives. This is achieved through the use of additional circulation systems. Firstly a glazed square lift moves visitors vertically through the different floors exposing them to the different levels of the collection. Secondly a horizontal moving walkway cuts through the different sections allowing people to step off and take a closer look at items that have captivated their attention expanding their experience at a lower speed. The new way of circulating the museum should also give way to innovative curational strategies that can make the most of this enhanced user experience.
