Geres villa is a residential project located in Geres, north of Portugal designed for a private client. The main concept relies on two concrete volumes that intersect each other perpendicularly. The junction point is where the entrance is located, giving access to both volumes and to a lower level under the longest block.

 

Concrete is the predominant material inside and outside with razor cut openings in the solid walls and floor to ceiling glass windows that open towards the breathtaking landscape.

The pure concrete look appeals to the Brazilian brutalist style, one that relies solely on the pure and clean shapes made in concrete without further finishes
