Madrid Housing was a series of national competitions set up to design council-housing complexes. The design intention was to push the boundaries of a very tight residential program despite of the reduced dimensions of the apartments the design makes the most out of the spaces.

 

With modular units that repeat themselves in a rhythmic position to create a dynamic facade.

Some of the complexes have raised ground floor plans to create a permeable and transparent view.
