Oporto riverside front consists in a proposal that intends to improve the relation between the city and its river, Douro. The urban strategy establishes a gesture of (re)joining both elements in order to have a more communicative bond between the city and its historical natural element.

 

Therefore it is proposed a continuous promenade throughout the river that unifies several qualified urban spaces: Miragaia square, s. Joao plaza, Gunidais urban park.

These areas are part of the requalification project bringing a set of new leisure, cultural and housing complexes to the city.
